We design the energy-efficient lighting project which requires an exact determination of present and projected energy consumption along with the viable financial options.

At this time, based on our walk-through, experience and the results of the General Energy Audit, we will KNOW if there is a 'fit'  ... meaning we will politely excuse ourselves if we can not be of service.

If we see a mutually beneficial opportunity however, we will need to gather detailed information about the type, number and location of EVERY lighting-related source of electrical usage ... right down to the light bulbs in the closets.

With that information, Smart Lighting Inc. can specify the replacement or retrofit option which will generate the lowest life cycle cost. We can then inform you about what will best work in each instance ... including the optimum light and comfort levels for each situation.

If we have uncovered sufficient evidence to suggest a financially viable project potential is in the offing, we almost always come back with a recommendation for an Investment Grade Audit.

SLI charges the standard audit fee of two cents ($.02) per square foot for each targeted facility. This relatively minor investment on your part covers out-of-pocket expenses and we include our IGA software usage fees.

Smart Lighting Inc.'s IGA software system produces the vital details and is designed to provide answers to the hard-nosed questions posed by senior executives.

The Investment Grade Audit is an all-inclusive management report which includes:

Investment Grade Audit

An exact inventory of the existing equipment in place,

Options for improvement to optimize savings and comfort,

Actual light levels before and projected light levels after with point-by-point light levels shown for new layouts of existing or new systems,

Electronic surveillance to determine occupancy frequency and the actual savings potential from motion-sensor control of lighting in low traffic areas,

Annual savings estimates via generation of actual utility bills per rate tiers active before and after the proposed installation,

Annual savings associated with any maintenance cost reductions,

A statistical evaluation of the quantity of PCB and non PCB disposal required,

Potential project cost trimmers like tandem wiring, alternates to dual switching,

An exact project cost including material, labor, rental equipment, PCB and lamp disposal, and cleanup, and

Data conversion into a management information report that features the key financial specifics needed by management to make an informed decision.*

*The management information report provides a final cost justification.

This report conclusively proves that SLI's recommendations will fit within the constraints of your organization's internal rate of return parameters.

Just Look at all those Ben Franklin's waiting for you to be picked up!
